Our LAST DISPATCH DATE for CHRISTMAS will be Monday 21st December 2026.
The oysters go by Royal Mail tracked 24 and should arrive by Tues 22nd Dec or Wed 23rd in case of Christmas delays. they have nine days’ shelf life so will be perfect for Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.
Keep in fridge with box lid open or a slightly damp tea towel over them, do not freeze.
(The dispatch prior to that would be Thursday 17th as there is no dispatch Fri - Sun, and if sent 17th the oysters should be consumed before Christmas).
NEW YEAR 2026
Our LAST DISPATCH DATE for NEW YEAR will be Monday 28th December.
The oysters are sent by Royal Mail Tracked 24 and should arrive on Tuesday 29th or Wednesday 30th December in case of seasonal delays in the post.
The oysters have nine days’ shelf life and will be perfect for New Years’ Eve or New Years’ day. Keep in fridge with the box lid ajar, or cover the oysters with a slightly damp tea towel. Do not let them freeze!
Please note our stocks of XL oysters may be limited, in which case we pack Large instead and add some extra to make up for any shortage of XL.
Our courier has recently increased its prices to us. We apologise for the high cost of transport at checkout. We are charged the same price for every parcel we send up to 20kg.
You will receive Cape Wrath Oysters packed in a traditional wooden punnet, with woodwool to reduce movement during transport. The punnet will be inside a polystyrene outer, with gel-packs to help keep the oysters cool. Put the punnet in the fridge on arrival. Like most perishables, oysters are best consumed within a few days of arrival, but they can have a good long shelf life provided you keep them cool and they remain shut.
